New hope for badminton as 70 players compete in Nanyuki

A nationwide campaign to position badminton as a national and international sport was held in Nanyuki town, with over 70 players participating in a tournament. Dubbed Boom and Thrive Badminton CSR Tournament 2026, the event attracted players from over 20 counties, including Central, Nairobi, Rift Valley, and the coastal regions.
