The County government of Kilifi has launched a fully equipped modern Radiology Unit that will offer healthcare services at subsidized rates to patients. The new unit is expected to enhance the quality of healthcare services by offering much-needed diagnostic capabilities and cheaper services to residents. Speaking during the launch the County Executive Committee Member for Health Peter Mwarogo said that the new machine has the can to attend to more than 30 patients in a day. He added that more than 200 patients from Kilifi, Tana River and Lamu counties have already benefited from its services since its inception a week ago.
