Home player Peter Njoroge fired 42 stableford points to lift the inaugural unicolor golf tournament series at the scenic Ruiru sports club. The feat saw the handicap 19 emerge the best of the 239 golfers that played in the tournament. The unique bit about the tournament is the winning prize, a complete makeover of his house. There were two other grand prizes for a hole in one at the par three-hole number three and at the par three-hole number 11. None of the 269 golfers managed a hole in one. The Ruiru leg was the beginning of a series of events that will culminate with a grand finale later in the year.
