Universal health coverage workers may have to wait until next year to be transitioned into permanent and pensionable terms, as no funds have been allocated by the government. The National Assembly Committee on health chairperson Dr. James Nyikal says despite their push for allocation of 11.8 billion shillings towards the transition, only four billion shillings has been allocated to cater for usual stipend.
