The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has begun a sensitization campaign for motorcycle operators in the public transport popularly known as boda boda sector to obtain licenses and insurance cover in a bid to curb rising cases of road carangae involving boda bodasa nd pedestrians. During a road safety awareness campaign through cycling in Diani Kwale County, NTSA board chairperson Khatib Mwashetani said the authority is also lobbyinhg the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) to include cycling and pedestrian lanes when constructing new roads or expanding existing ones.
