NTSA suspends two matatus SACCOs over traffic violations

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has suspended the licenses of Bungoma Line Safaris Ltd and Smart Highway Saccos due to non-compliance. According to NTSA, these SACCOs failed to adhere to various directives regarding speed regulations on the roads. This comes at a time when kenyans are traveling for the easter holidays despite increased fares. NTSA has also issued directives to school administrations to ensure their drivers possess valid licenses and meet other requirements as they transport students during the extended break
