ODM leader Raila Odinga now says it is too early to announce his 2027 candidature despite pressure from his allies to make a sixth stab at the presidency. Although remaining noncommittal over his 2027 bid, Odinga has promised to tell Kenyans whether he will take President William head-on amidst disquiet in his Azimio coalition. The coalition has dismissed the possibility of wrangles even as key members of the coalition have announced plans to vie for the presidency in the next general election.
