ODM rebel faction to hold parallel NDC on March 27

The Linda Mwananchi Alliance, led by Siaya Governor James Orengo, says it will hold a people’s national convention (PDC) on March 27, the same day ODM is set to conduct its national delegates convention. The alliance says the move is to give a platform to ODM supporters who have been locked out, even as they accuse President William Ruto of making statements they say do not befit the presidency.
