Opposition leader Raila Odinga lists six demands before talks with Govt

    Opposition Chief Raila Odinga appears to have thrown a spanner into the works on the proposed national dialogue. In a statement posted on his social media, Odinga says he stands with the demands by the youth for justice before dialogue. Odinga spelt out six demands that he says should be met by the government before any talks. This include; compensation for every victim of police brutality, dismissal of protest related cases, release of all abductees and those in jail, resolution of concerns by teachers and healthcare workers, reverting to NHIF and prosecution of security sector perpetrators who facilitated atrocities against peaceful protestors
