The government and the Opposition are tonight locked in an impasse over an impending fresh round of mass demonstrations set for Tuesday. On Monday Deputy Inspector General of Police Noor Gabow declared the planned Azimio protests unlawful, even as Opposition Chief Raila Odinga insisted that the march is on. And as Zainab Said reports, the two sides appear headed on a collision course with Azimio on one hand insisting that it must deliver its petitions, while the police on the other maintaining they will stop the march to avert the destruction of property.
