Orengo, Babu at DCI as group threatens lawsuit over alleged goons recruitment

Linda Mwananchi leaders James Orengo and Babu Owino claim that a special police unit from Nairobi has been deployed in Kisumu County to allegedly track down opposition supporters illegally. Speaking to the press at DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road, after failing to get an audience with Director of Criminal Investigations Mohammed Amin and his deputy John Onyango, the Embakasi East legislator and Siaya Governor announced that they will initiate private prosecutions against Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo and Deputy DCI Director John Onyango for allegedly collaborating with goons and gangs to target opposition leaders.
