A women group has launched an initiative to donate sanitary towels, undergarments and shoes to school going girls. Siaya senator James Orengo while hailing the move by the charity group has called on Kenyans to elect a Raila Odinga-Martha Karua ticket in order to witness a major focus on women affairs. The program dubbed hopes, dreams and dignity menstrual bank has kicked off in Siaya county with more than 5,000 girls set to benefit from Rarieda, Bondo and Gem constituencies.
