Over 100 bars in Nyeri county shutdown permanently

Over 100 bars in Nyeri county suspected to be involved in the sale of illicit and second-generation alcohol have been shut down permanently, as the war on illicit brew in the country receives renewed efforts. This was revealed during the Nyeri county annual prayer breakfast where First Lady Rachael Ruto and Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi, called for concerted efforts to rehabilitate the high number of addicts set to hit rehabilitation centers, following the enhanced fight against illicit alcohol and drugs in the country.
