More than 100 adults from Mbita Sub-county, Homa Bay County who previously dropped out of school have benefitted from a skills development training offered by a Non-Governmental organisation at the Arise Women Center in Rusinga.The skills development program spearheaded by Power for the People organization, is aimed at supporting education and skills training initiatives in order to equip participants with practical skills for economic empowerment and self-reliance. The beneficiaries, primarily young parents, reported significant improvements in their prospects for building better livelihoods, pledging to share their knowledge and skills to benefit others in their communities.
