Owalo unveils new party, eyes presidency in 2027

Former ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo has unveiled a new political party that he says he will use to seek the presidency in next year's elections. Speaking during the official launch of the People's Prosperity Party, Owalo said his main focus will be on economic transformation if elected president. Owalo accused past governments of failing to address the challenges facing Kenyans.
