Parliament has adjourned its regular sittings for the third session ahead of its long recess beginning 6th of December to February 11th 2025. Senate majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot hailed the senate’s commitment to concluding crucial bills such as the Coffee, Tea and Sugar bills which will greatly benefit the farmers at the counties as well as the elections amendment bill. Senators, however, raised concern over the issue of accumulation of pending bills which they say leads to the absorption rate of monies at the counties.
