The National Assembly has approved a report seeking the appointment of seven individuals to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. Justice and Legal Affairs Committee Chairperson George Murugara while presenting the report Wednesday said Erustus Edung Ethekon approved to serve as the Chairperson and the six members met the suitability criteria and fit to serve in the commission. Murugara said Ethekon had assured the committee that intact he had the 'spine' to deal with elections. Kamuche Menza tells us more.
