PARLIAMENT EXPLORING WAYS OF INCREASING FUNDING TO THE EDUCATION SECTOR
The National Assembly is exploring ways of increasing funding to the education sector, assembly’s budget committee chairperson, Samuel Atandi has said. According to Atandi, parliament was committed to reviewing the matter, adding that the upcoming supplementary estimates will include proposals to boost funding to the sector to cushion learners from the adverse effects of underfunding.
