Parliamentary vetting of IEBC nominees scheduled for Monday has been shelved in line with a court directive halting the process. Chair of the National assembly Justice and Legal Affairs Committee George Murugara speaking to channel 1 says the committee which was scheduled to begin the vetting exercise tomorrow will wait for the court’s direction. The vetting process was halted by the courts following a petition challenging the nomination process of the seven nominees to the electoral body. Our reporter Abdiaziz Hashim has the details.
