The government has disbursed 3.2 billion shillings for the Inua Jamii Cash Transfer program expected to benefit over one million citizens countrywide. Principal Secretary of Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs Joseph Motari says payments will commence on Wednesday 3 July. He said the newly onboarded members totalling 570 thousand will receive their shares from six designated banks.
