Players want National Tobacco and Nicotine control act 2007 amended

Anti tobacco crusaders want the government to amend the National Tobacco and Nicotine products control act 2007 which they claim is outdated to safeguard public health. Led by the Tobacco Control Board chairperson Naomi Shaaban said the existing Tobacco control law is out of tune and does not provide sufficient safeguards to deal with emerging nicotine products circulating in the country.
