Police disperse Karatina protesters as Nyeri remains calm

For the third year running, police in Karatina were forced to lob teargas to disperse protestors in the town, after the largely peaceful protests turned chaotic. Police disrupted the procession after the protestors allegedly breached the permit conditions in the protest permit. The subsequent chaos resulted in three people arrested. As Kamau Mwangi now reports, Nyeri town did not witness any protests with businesses operating normally.
