Police gun down suspected criminal in Makadara as a man murders girlfriend in Kasarani, Nairobi

Police officers based at Makadara police station in Nairobi have gunned down a suspected wanted criminal who is said to be responsible for a series of robbery with violence incidents within Langata, Kilimani, and Kibera areas. Police say the criminal has been leading a gang that has also been receiving support from an identified police officer within Nairobi. It is said the suspect recently shot a secondary school student during a robbery incident within Langata sub-county.
