The Port of Mombasa has welcomed Crystal Symphony as the first cruise ship of the year, marking a strong start to the cruise season. The vessel arrived with 511 passengers of mixed nationalities, most from the United Kingdom, and 490 crew members, with hundreds of tourists heading out early for excursions to Tsavo National Park, Amboseli National Reserve by air, and guided Mombasa city tours. Kenya Tourism Board CEO June Chepkemei and Kenya Ports Authority officials said the visit highlights Kenya’s growing appeal as a key cruise tourism destination on the Indian Ocean circuit
