President William Ruto has announced the signing of an agreement between Kenya and Haiti to facilitate Kenya's involvement in the multinational security support mission to Haiti. The Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henri who is in the country joined Ruto in overseeing the signing of a pact of deployment of 1000 police officers to Haiti's capital port AU Prince. This follows a court decision that determined the need for a reciprocal instrument between Kenya and the country in which the police can be deployed.
