President William Ruto has directed the Ministry of Interior to absorb 4,000 National Youth Service graduates in the National Police Service during the forthcoming recruitment exercise for 10,000 new officers. Speaking during the 89th NYS Graduation ceremony in Gilgil ,Nakuru county, the President said his government has been in the forefront in seeking job opportunities both within and in the overseas labour market, urging those who will not make the cut to join the police force to take up the many available opportunities, which he said have already benefited over 2300 young people.
