President Ruto launches G7 strategy for women Governors in Nairobi

President William Ruto has hailed women as the cornerstone of the country’s politics. Speaking in Nairobi when he launched the strategy of the G7, a caucus that brings together the seven women governors in the Country ahead of the International Women’s Day, the President said women are drivers of change and agents of democratic governance. The President however regretted that their active participation in the political scope is limited even as he committed to change the narrative.
