The Kenya pipeline company has officially listed its shares on the Nairobi Securities Exchange, marking the beginning of trading at the NSE. The listing gives investors a new asset to invest in and brings activity to Kenya’s capital markets, ending an 18-year drought in major listings on the bourse. Speaking during the bell-ringing ceremony in Nairobi, NSE chair Kiprono Kittony described the listing as a powerful vote of confidence in Kenya’s capital markets.
