Kisumu governor Anyang Nyong'o has today been a man in trouble following his decision to bar demonstrations in his county and defer them to Nairobi. Kisumu residents slammed the move by their governor and were ready to defy his suspension of Azimio demos even as Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja fired back at the Kisumu county boss for his intentions to export demonstrators to an already ailing city. Nyong'o has however rescinded his earlier decision and called for peaceful demonstrations in the county tomorrow.
Protests to continue in Kisumu even after Gov. Nyong’o banned them
