DIGITIZATION OF HOSPITALS
The Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Dr. Ouma Oluga has cautioned hospitals against seeking fictitious claims from the Social Health Authority, saying patients must get value for money. The PS says the digitisation of health systems will weed out rogue hospitals from the sector, and work only with genuine healthcare providers. Oluga was speaking in Migori, where he challenged the Migori County Government to fully adopt the digitised systems and ensure tracking of SHA payments across all 177 health facilities in the county.
