Public hearings on the Finance Bill extended to Wednesday

No one can oppose the Finance Bill 2023 in its entirety as members of parliament will be required to vote on it clause by clause, parliament’s finance committee Chair Kuria Kimani has said. on the final day of the public hearing which has seen over 151 groups submit their views, a window was given to individuals on Wednesday this week to present their views. a report will then be prepared after a meeting with the national treasury, as well KRA before the tabling of the bill in parliament by the 15th of June this year.
