Punguza Mizigo returns: Aukot team revamps bill

  • | K24 Video
Barely four months since the collapse of the Punguza Mizigo bill after failing to garner support from the county assemblies, third way alliance party leader Ekuru Aukot was on Monday back in the public with a newly-revamped bill that proposed the abolition of the senate and scrapping of the deputy governor position among other constitutional amendments . Aukot says that his party has once again embarked on collection of one million signatures as part of the re-launch and that they will soon be going back to the ward reps with the new bill…however, as Caleb Ratemo reports, political analysts have questioned Aukot’s ability to rally against the BBI which is being fronted by the state.
