The Communications Authority of Kenya is developing a framework for introduction of digital sound broadcasting in Kenya to ensure efficient utilization of the scarce broadcasting spectrum. CA Director General Ezra Chiloba says the move is geared towards satisfying the growing demand for radio broadcasting services that have outstripped the existing FM radio frequencies.
