    Ongoing attacks on cargo ships in the Red Sea are delaying the arrival of goods to the Kenyan port of Mombasa – and pushing up prices of consumables, like dates, which are customarily used to break fast in the Holy Month of Ramadan. It could be that for many Muslims in the region the sweet fruits are just out of financial reach for the festivities.
