Ramogi House traders count losses after fire consumes property Tuesday evening

Traders at the Ramogi House along Nairobi’s Luthuli Avenue are counting losses amounting to millions of shillings after a fire that broke out last evening consumed their property. The fire that has been burning for over 16 hours has affecting dozens of businesses in the building. Nairobi Central area Sub-County Police Commander Philemon Nyakombo, attributed the delay in controlling the fire to poor access by firefighters to the affected floors.
