A 36 year-old woman who had accused Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Nominee Mithika Linturi of attempted rape has withdrawn her complaints. Following a confirmation from the Director of Public Prosecution that the two parties are in agreement, the Chief Magistrate allowed the withdrawal and directed that the 200,000-shilling cash bail paid by Linturi be released.
