A sombre mood enveloped the family of Lieutenant Colonel David Kipchichir Sawe, one of the nine officers who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Elgeyo Marakwet. Led by his wife Prisca Sawe, family and close friends of the late soldier were overwhelmed with grief as they recalled their last moments with him.
