Residents of Tiaty, Baringo County have welcomed a move by an International Mining Company to support a solar project in the area, saying it will enhance peace between the warring communities of the Pokot and Tugen.The company, Afridge Development Plan, with the support of Chuanshan International Mining Company that mines Diatomite in Katikit Tiaty Constituency, and Shandong Provincial Government further promised to help create job opportunities in the area.
