A retired chief in Gatundu, Kiambu County, has been arrested on suspicion of defrauding the public. The former chief is accused of running an illegal advocate’s office. She was apprehended during a joint operation, by the office of the directorate of criminal investigation and Law Society of Kenya officials. A chief's stamp was also recovered from her office among other official documents despite having retired from service two years ago.
