Secondary schools across the country have been asked to make sure that board of management members come from the area in a bid to lower costs in school. Speaking during the education day at Chepsaita Primary School Turbo Constituency President William Ruto's Personal Assistant Faruk Kibet said schools are spending huge sums of money to cater for travelling expenses of board members and yet they could use the said funds to improve the infrastructure and day today activities in the institutions. Education CS Ezekiel Machogu and Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang on their part assured parents that the government is committed to improve infrastructure and employ more teachers in secondary schools.
