Residents of Gikumari Village in Ruiru Sub County are calling on the authorities to protect them from possible eviction from land they say is legally theirs. The residents say a private developer plans to eject them from the said land and accused the local administration for aiding the eviction. They have vowed not to give in to external pressure to leave their ancestral land.
