Russia rules out compensation for Kenyans in its military

The Russian government has put Kenyans on its stop list, effectively barring Kenyans from being recruited to its military as contractors. As Emmanuel Too now reports, the Russian authorities, however, refused to bear the cost of repatriating Kenyans who had been conscripted to fight in the Russia-Ukraine war, saying their contracts did not include that clause and that those who signed for the war knew what they were getting into.
