Ruto administration defends fuel crisis response as protests end

As transport sector players called off protests over the record increase in the cost of fuel, President William Ruto's administration mounted a spirited defence of its handling of the crisis. As President Ruto discredited those seeking to mint politicial capital out of a national crisis, his deputy defended his role in bringing a resolution to the protests.
