Ruto: Constitution mandates me to invest ways of raising revenue

President William Ruto has remained defiant in the wake of uncertainty facing financing of the affordable housing project after the court of appeal declined to extend a stay order that had allowed the government to continue collecting a 1.5% levy on the housing levy, after the high court declared it unconstitutional. Speaking in Bungoma County, the President says his administration will deliver on the affordable housing project and that he has a plan on how to raise funds to finance it.
