Ruto honours Aga Khan V with Kenya’s highest civilian award

    President William Ruto has praised the Aga Khan Development Network for its major contribution to Kenya’s health, education, and environmental sectors. Speaking at the state house in Nairobi after signing new cooperation agreements with his highness Rahim al-Hussaini, Aga Khan V, who is in Kenya for a three-day visit, Ruto said the partnership will now extend to affordable housing projects and the Nairobi River regeneration. He also conferred on him the nation’s highest honour of the chief of the order of the golden heart, in recognition of his service.
