Deputy president William Ruto today took the Kenya Kwanza alliance campaigns to Meru county in the Mt Kenya East region. This is after traversing Embu and Tharaka Nithi counties in the last three days. The second in command vowed to stage a fight against cartels who he says have captured the economy at the expense of the majority Kenyans who continue to languish in poverty. The DP also promised to fix the high food prices in the first 100 days if elected president on 9th of next month.
