Pensioners and employees entitled to gratuity are set to cash in after President William Ruto announced a tax exemption on pension and gratuity. Ruto, who led the country in marking the 60th Labour Day celebrations in Nairobi, also revealed that employers will now be legally required to claim employees' tax reliefs while filing PAYE returns to the Kenya Revenue Authority.
