Safaricom has dispelled rumors suggesting the integration of its mobile money transfer service, M-Pesa, with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) during a service outage.
Safaricom's Chief Finance Services Officer Esther Waititu clarified that data sharing between the telecommunications giant and KRA was not permissible due to the constraints imposed by the Data Protection Act.
