Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja has announced plans to relocate occupants of unsafe buildings ahead of the expected El Nino rains. Sakaja has also warned owners of structures built on trenches and on riparian land, ordering them to demolish their buildings before the county does. This comes even as the kenya Red Cross is set to establish call centers to respond to emergencies countrywide.
