The Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KESSHA) says it will defy court order stopping school levies. School heads argue that for schools to remain operational they have no option to ask parents to cheap as government funding has remained unsustainable. Speaking in Mombasa ahead of this year's KESSHA national conference, KESSHA Chairperson Willy Kuria said the current funding model has remained unchanged for over a decade and no longer sustainable.Kuria blamed the crisis in schools to delays in disbursement of capitation funds by the government.
